Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugh Jass!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jass throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hampton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jass is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Jass pulls Hampton in close to his closed guard and prevents Hampton from doing any damage or advancing position.

Hampton shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jass napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hampton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hampton looks up at the clock and then as Jass takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hampton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

James Hampton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jass is looking to stand up but Hampton isn't so interested in that idea.

Hampton throws a lazy right hand but Jass sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jass throws a series of punches but Hampton avoids them all with ease.

Jass is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Jass counters with a one-two to the body.

Jass gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hampton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
