Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Second Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Butch Reed!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Boy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Reed knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Reed is looking to improve his position.

Boy is looking for a kimura but Reed is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boy to get the leverage.
Reed wants to control but Boy is keeping busy.
Boy passes to side control.
Boy is looking to take a break and control but Reed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reed has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reed, who protects the arm well.

Boy tries for a kimura but Reed is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reed is trying to control Boy's posture but Boy avoids it.
Reed misses with a strike from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Boy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reed knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Boy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reed is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Boy has hold of Reed's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Reed seems comfortable defending it but Boy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Reed is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Reed is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Boy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
