Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockridge misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lockridge stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lockridge wants it to stay on the feet.
Lockridge leaves Guy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lockridge is looking to clinch but Guy is avoiding it.
Guy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Guy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Guy.

Lockridge wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guy keeps working.

Lockridge is standing up over Guy. Guy looks to escape but Lockridge dives into side control.

Lockridge is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Guy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Guy tries to lock up and control but Lockridge gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Guy is squirming around, avoiding Lockridge's attempts to control the action.
Guy is in a horrible position here. Lockridge smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lockridge cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Guy is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Lockridge working for a submission but Guy is keeping him at bay.
Guy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lockridge.
Guy tries to improve his position but instead Lockridge has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy breaks Lockridge's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Lockridge is pulling down on Guy's head. It's preventing any offense from Guy, at least for the moment.

Lockridge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guy swivels and escapes.

Guy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lockridge's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Guy lands a nice short elbow.
Guy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lockridge with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lockridge wants to control but Guy is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Guy drops an elbow to the side of Lockridge's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Guy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Lockridge jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Guy walks away with a smile on his face. Lockridge gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Guy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lockridge tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guy is in Lockridge's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
