Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus DusK jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Lanzaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lanzaro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dr. Alban - It's my life. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DusK jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lanzaro circles away quickly and effectively.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
DusK jr throws a looping overhand right but Lanzaro ducks down to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from DusK jr. Lanzaro does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
DusK jr is pressed up against the cage. Lanzaro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag DusK jr down to the mat. DusK jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

DusK jr bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lanzaro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lanzaro wants it to stay on the feet.

Freddy Lanzaro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lanzaro is working for a rear naked choke. DusK jr is not defending it well and Lanzaro has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! DusK jr refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of DusK jr's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
