Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Le Banter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Brone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brone has chosen Street Dreams by NAS as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brone has managed to clinch.
Brone is trying to break the clinch but Le Banter has him pressed against the cage.
Brone with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Le Banter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brone misses with a kick to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Le Banter as Brone shoots in.
Brone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jerome Le Banter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Brone.
Brone looks to land a combination but Le Banter avoids it well.

Le Banter shoots in for a takedown but Brone shows good takedown defense.
Le Banter misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brone wants to clinch.
Le Banter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Le Banter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Le Banter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Le Banter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Brone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Le Banter is fending him off so far but Brone persists. Nope, Le Banter circles away and we're back to standing.
Brone throws a chopping leg kick but Le Banter manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Brone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Le Banter wants to stand but Brone is controlling the position.
Le Banter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brone is one step ahead there.

Brone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Brone looks gassed!
Le Banter wants to stand and escape but Brone is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Brone takes a jab right on the kisser.
Le Banter misses with a few strikes there.
Le Banter misses with a series of wild punches.

Le Banter tries to keep at a distance but Brone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Brone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brone misses with a leg kick
and Le Banter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brone shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Brone moves in looking to clinch but Le Banter pushes him off.

and Le Banter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Brone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Le Banter wants to get back to his feet.

Le Banter can't escape the position.
Brone blocks Le Banter's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Le Banter wants to try and get back to his feet.

Brone is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Le Banter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brone get's back to his feet.
Le Banter swats away the attempt to clinch by Brone.
Le Banter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brone closes the distance and clinches up with Le Banter, looking for a takedown. Brone pushes Le Banter against the cage but Le Banter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brone drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Brone as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Le Banter screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Brone! Nice submission victory there!
