Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.

Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Daley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Daley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Daley counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Daley counters with a nice low kick that buckles Johnson's knee momentarily.

Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Johnson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Daley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Johnson throws a right hand that Daley ducks under and follows up with a left that Daley also avoids with ease.

Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daley is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Daley circles away and we're back to standing.

Jack Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Daley buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Daley catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daley's waist but Daley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Daley tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

John Daley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
