Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Padrone Shinobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrick Skiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skiter misses with a body shot.

Skiter tries to clinch there but Shinobi circles away.
Skiter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shinobi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shinobi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Skiter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Shinobi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Skiter has escaped the position, nice work there.

Shinobi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Skiter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Skiter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shinobi asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Shinobi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Skiter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shinobi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shinobi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skiter tries to avoid it but Shinobi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skiter to the ground. Skiter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Skiter tries to clinch there but Shinobi circles away.
Shinobi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skiter's waist but Skiter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shinobi off to one side.

Skiter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Skiter throws a right and a left that both miss.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Skiter looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Shinobi! Submission of the night perhaps?
