Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between bjj mastero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larusso misses with a takedown attempt - mastero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

mastero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Larusso is staying active underneath mastero, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Larusso tries to roll over but mastero keeps him under control.
Larusso is not content to let mastero control the position.
mastero seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Larusso gets full guard.
Larusso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
mastero pushes Larusso off looking to stand but Larusso dives back in and keeps control.

Larusso stands up over mastero, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

mastero frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

mastero working for a submission but Larusso is keeping him at bay.
Larusso is desperately trying to improve his position but mastero has a good base and remains in mount.

mastero looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

mastero working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

mastero stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
mastero tries for a takedown but Larusso circles away easily

and Larusso decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in mastero's guard.

mastero manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

mastero wants to get back to his feet but Larusso is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Larusso working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Larusso connects with a nice short shot to mastero's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
mastero is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Larusso's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Larusso's back!

mastero looking to break Larusso's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Larusso remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise mastero will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Larusso tries to roll but mastero sticks to his back.
