Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Himbo Spice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larinzo White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Himbo Spice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Larinzo White!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spice moves into the clinch successfully.

Spice works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Spice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
White trying to control the position.
Spice controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Spice has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Spice avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White wants to sweep but no luck.
Spice wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.
Spice stopping the sweep attempt from White.

White throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Spice wanted to stand there but White had control of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

White has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Spice is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for White.
Spice is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Spice controls the position.
The ground and pound from Spice seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
White tries to improve position but can't.
Spice trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom.
Spice throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Spice tries to score with some ground and pound. White controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
White is looking for a sweep.
White being controlled for a moment.
Spice tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
White struggling a bit here.
White sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Spice tries to pass to full mount but White defends it.
White slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now White is on top in guard.
Spice is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White stopping the sweep attempt from Spice.
White postures up in Spice's guard and throws a big left but Spice blocks it.
White loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
White is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
White with a flurry of punches that miss.
Spice keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.
White slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
White working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spice is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
White throws an elbow but Spice slips to the side and avoids it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

White wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spice, who protects the arm well.
White misses with the ground and pound.
White lands an elbow.

White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spice is not content to let White control the position.

White has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Spice is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. White yanks on the arm and Spice is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by White.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Larinzo White!
