Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Rocco!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rocco pushes Torres off looking to stand but Torres dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rocco kicks off Torres and gets to his feet.
A combination from Torres does no damage.
A chopping leg kick lands by Torres.
Rocco gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Torres to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Torres decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rocco, up you get!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Torres tries to clinch up but Rocco circles away and keeps his distance.

Rocco's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Torres fails with the takedown
and Rocco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rocco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rocco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rocco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Rocco controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Xavier Rocco.

Rocco kicks Torres off and gets to his feet.
Torres misses with an attempted mid kick.
Torres moves in looking to clinch but Rocco pushes him off.
Rocco tries for a takedown but Torres circles away easily
and Torres counters with a takedown into side control.

Rocco is trying to buck Torres off.
Torres swings around for an armbar but Rocco sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Torres's guard.

Rocco connects with a couple of short punches.
Rocco stays in close to Torres's body and controls the position.
Torres looking for a sweep. Not yet Torres, not yet.

Torres is trying to control the position but Rocco postures up.
Rocco scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rocco gets the takedown into side control.
Rocco takes a little break here. Torres wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Rocco lands a nice forearm strike.

Rocco lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Torres down.
A lull in the action here.
Rocco cracks Torres with a big right hand but Torres just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xavier Rocco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

so Torres counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rocco wants to stand but Torres is controlling the position.
Rocco kicks Torres off and gets to his feet.
Torres shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Torres showed some decent athleticism there.
Rocco kicks Torres off and gets back to his feet.
Rocco tries to close the distance and clinch but Torres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rocco shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rocco was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torres is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Torres tries to lock up and control but Rocco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

I would just about give that final round to Xavier Rocco.
