The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fistyrian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jane.
Jane misses with a straight right.
Fistyrian feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jane's calf.
Fistyrian jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fistyrian shoots in and drives through. Jane sprawls well.
Fistyrian throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Jane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fistyrian. Fistyrian obviously looking to wear him down.

Fistyrian wants to clinch
and Jane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fistyrian misses the body punch
and Jane counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Fistyrian on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jane scores with a nice body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jane, right into the meat.

Jane cracks Fistyrian with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jane has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fistyrian to stand back up!

Jane throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jane throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jane swings for the body but Fistyrian moves out of range.
Fistyrian closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Jane throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jane jabs at Fistyrian's body.
Jane throws a body punch but Fistyrian moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fistyrian misses with a looping left.
Jane thows a body shot but no joy.
Jane digs a good body shot into Fistyrian's ribs.
Jane scores with a nice strike.
Jane connects with a body shot that sends Fistyrian's belly button to the back.
Jane swings and misses with a hook to the body.

letting Jane counter with a right hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jane, right into the meat.
Jane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jane just misses with a punch to the body.

Fistyrian gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jane displaying some good clinch control by pressing Fistyrian up against the cage.
Jane takes a knee to the side of the body.
Jane tries to break free but Fistyrian pushes him back against the cage.
Jane has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jane presses Fistyrian against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fistyrian's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fistyrian throws a jab when Jane was well out of range.
Manuel Fistyrian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fistyrian takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Jane dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jane connects with a solid leg kick.
Fistyrian takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Fistyrian takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jane connects with a body shot that sends Fistyrian's belly button to the back.

Jane fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fistyrian.
Jane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fistyrian on the side of the head.
Jane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fistyrian avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jane scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fistyrian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jane to score with a decent uppercut.
Fistyrian takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Jane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jane wants it to stay on the feet.
Jane lands a head shot.
Jane throws out a powerful jab.

Jane lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fistyrian is still on wobbly legs! Can Jane finish him?
Jane lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Fistyrian head around and knocks him out cold! Jane hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
