Freedman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Power kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks fails with a takedown attempt.

Marks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Freedman did well to prevent Marks getting side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marks has gone for a leg lock! Freedman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Marks's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Freedman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Marks, up you get!

Marks's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Freedman is holding on here and Marks must be using up a lot of energy. Freedman has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Marks gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
