Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machete Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juarez has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music. Machete Juarez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Machete Juarez!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice defenses there by Juarez.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jones. Juarez shrugs it off though.
Juarez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Juarez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Juarez misses with a telegraphed body shot
so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Juarez is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Juarez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Juarez throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.
Jones seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Juarez has recovered full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Juarez is on top in guard.
Jones throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Juarez escapes and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Jones wants to control but Juarez postures up.
Juarez stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jones throws a head kick but Juarez moves out of range.
Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones prevents Juarez from getting back to his feet.
Juarez wants to sweep but no luck.
Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Juarez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jones looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Juarez puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Juarez is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones is trying to stand up here but Juarez is controlling him well.
Juarez decides to return to a standing position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones throws a head kick but Juarez moves out of range.
Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Juarez circles away.
Juarez closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Juarez is controlling Jones's posture.
Jones wants to get up but he can't break Juarez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juarez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Juarez napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Juarez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Juarez manages to get back to half guard.

Jones is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Juarez has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Juarez!

Jones is looking to stand up but Juarez isn't so interested in that idea.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Juarez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get!

Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Juarez is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard.

Juarez stops Jones from standing up.
Juarez stands up from Jones's guard - Juarez perhaps looking for a knockout.
Juarez catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A right-left combo lands from Juarez.
Juarez lands a nice shot to the body.
Juarez digs a good hook to Jones's body.
Juarez misses with the combination.
A combination from Juarez does no damage.
Juarez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eddie Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Juarez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Juarez is breathing heavily.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Juarez's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Juarez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Juarez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Juarez!

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Juarez is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Juarez is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that's the end of the fight!
Eddie Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
