Broadous has chosen Snoop Dogg I Wanna Rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Zilla Kong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadous tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kong was well out of range. Poor timing from Broadous.
Kong throws out a loose jab but Broadous uses good head movement to avoid it.
Broadous lands a jab to Kong's midsection.
Kong takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Zilla Kong has been cut.

Kong throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Broadous defending well as Kong loads up on a big left hand.
Broadous scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Broadous connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kong misses with a hook to the body
and Broadous counters with a good low kick that Kong was not able to check.
Kong is breathing heavily.

Broadous has Kong pushed against the cage.
Kong keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Broadous's efforts to push away.
Kong has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Broadous avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Broadous scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Broadous gets through Kong's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Broadous breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Broadous smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Zilla Kong's cut is getting worse.
Broadous lands with an uppercut that bounces Kong off the cage and back into rage.
Broadous tries to land a front kick but Kong steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Broadous throws an overhand right that lands on Kong's shoulder, as Kong tries to avoid the shot.
Broadous lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kong throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Broadous sees it coming and avoids it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kong.
Broadous dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kong swings away with a body shot that misses
and Broadous counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kong thinking.
Nice straight punches there by Broadous. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Broadous.

Zilla Kong's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Broadous fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kong tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Broadous's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Broadous duly obliges.

Broadous has taken the fight to the clinch.
Broadous lands with a left to the head.

Jeez, Zilla Kong's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zilla Kong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
