Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aslam King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the ring accompanied by Terry Bozzio Drum Solo. Money is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Triumph by Wu Tang Clan. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aslam King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trey Money!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from King as Money shoots in.
King looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Money misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Money takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

King tries to keep at a distance but Money has taken the fight into the clinch.
Money wants to get back to striking at distance but King won't allow it.
Money is working for takedown but King is calmly controlling the position for now.
Aslam King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Money.

King lands a takedown into guard.
Money bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
Money being controlled here momentarily.
King wants to sweep here but Money controlling him for the moment.
King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Money trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Money stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King pulls Money in close to his closed guard and prevents Money from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Aslam King has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Money blocks a low kick nicely.
Nice sprawl there from King as Money shoots in.
King misses with a looping right.
Money misses with a series of wild punches.
Money misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trey Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Money tries to get to full guard but King has control of the leg.
King with the ground and pound but Money uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Money had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.
King thows a big elbow that misses.
King looking to pass the guard.
King cracks Money with a solid left hand.

Money looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
King keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Money's head.
King wants to control from the top but Money keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells King's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
King is looking to advance position but Money has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
King can't escape the position.
Money lands a big elbow.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
King keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Money connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Money with shots to the head and body - King looks very uncomfortable down there.
King is bucking up trying to escape but Money cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
King wants to hold on but Money pushes him away.
Money with a couple of short strikes.

Money has control of King's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and King regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Money has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King is wriggling around trying to escape.
Money lands a nice shot to the head.
King wants to hold on but Money pushes him away.
Poor strikes thrown by Money there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Money postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. King looks a forlorn figure.
Money trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Money unloads with some shots from mount but King bucks and avoids them well.
Money avoids the attempt from King to control.
Money wants to control the pace but King is squirming around nicely.
Money throwing strikes here but King is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
King is wriggling around trying to escape.
King sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Money is trying to control the action in half guard but King is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
King is looking to improve his position.
King is pressing down on Money's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
King is breathing heavily.
Money preventing the sweep.
Money wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Money looking to pass the guard.
Money thows a big elbow that misses.
Money pushing down on King's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Money throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Money connects with a nice short shot to King's temple.

Money is looking to advance position but King won't allow it.
Money wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
King is positioning himself well to prevent Money advancing to mount.
Money throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
King trying to control from the bottom.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Money is working for a kimura but King is defending it quite comfortably.

King is defending against the submission attempts here by Money.
King keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
King is trying to get back to full guard.

King on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Money scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
King on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if King tries to get out of the position.

Money looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it.

A close round but Trey Money will probably get the nod.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Money wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Money looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Trey Money is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Money throws a combination but it was largely blocked by King.
Money tries to bum rush King with a series of wild strikes but King uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and King counters by clinching up.
Money being controlled against the ropes.
Money tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Money is breathing heavily.
Money misses with a hook from the clinch.

Money pulls King into guard.
Money keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.

Money working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Aslam King wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

King has clasped his hands together around Money's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

King looking to sit in guard and control but Money gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Money thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Aslam King showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
