Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbert Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Still D.R.E. Truck has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Truck is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Truck is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Truck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Truck shrugs it off.

Jones swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Truck is now in Jones's guard. A big mistake from Jones there, giving up the dominant position!
Truck wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Truck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Truck makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Truck tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Truck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Truck leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Truck feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
