The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane looks to throw the jab but Willis is out of range.
Willis moves away from the strike by Kane.
Kane misses with a body shot.
Willis fails with the takedown.

Willis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Willis throwing strikes but Kane manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Kane prevents Willis from escaping the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Willis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Willis is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kane is pressing down on Willis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Willis is holding on for now.
Willis pushes Kane off looking to stand but Kane dives back in and keeps control.
Willis is pressing down on Kane's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Willis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Willis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kane lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Willis is working for takedown but Kane is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane lands a shot to the body.
Willis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kane pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kane lands with a light punch inside.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kane has eaten all the pies!

Willis is trying to trip Kane. He has hold of a leg but Kane is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Willis persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Willis wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
Kane can't keep his opponent in guard - Willis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Willis stops Kane from getting back to his feet.
Willis is looking to advance position but Kane won't allow it.

Willis stands up out of the half guard.
Kane ducks under a wild hook from Willis.
Kane throws a jab when Willis was well out of range.

Willis gets the takedown into side control.
Willis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

It looks like Lucifer Kane has been cut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Willis tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kane defending against the ground and pound.
Kane is working to avoid the ground and pound but Willis connects with a decent elbow.
Willis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kane keeps working.
Kane takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Willis trying to control the position but Kane is working away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Willis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kane is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kane scores with a crisp jab that stopped Willis in his tracks.
Patrick Willis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane stuffs the takedown attempt from Willis. Willis gets slowly back to his feet.
Willis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kane circles away.
Kane lands a really nice looking cross but Willis seems unphased.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Willis here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Willis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Willis somewhat.

Willis shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Horrible takedown by Willis or perhaps it was just good defense by Kane which made him look bad.
Willis throws a lazy right hand but Kane sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kane lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Willis backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Willis tries for a takedown but Kane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Willis has a takedown stuffed.

Kane scores with a shot to the body.
Kane's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kane duly obliges.
Willis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Kane drops Willis with a beautiful combination! Willis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kane is looking for the KO!

Willis is rocked!

Kane lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Willis falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kane dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
