A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Vasquez's choice of entrance music: All Of The Lights. lloyd zak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

zak instigates a clinch.

Vasquez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
zak doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasquez circles away.
Vasquez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
zak throws a low kick, looking for Vasquez's leg but Vasquez calmly moves out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vasquez, right into the meat.
zak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
zak misses with a hook. Vasquez ducked under it nicely.
Vasquez staying out of range there.
zak thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vasquez shoots in for a double leg but zak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vasquez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Vasquez gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Vasquez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says zak as he avoids it easily.
lloyd zak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greivis Vasquez.
Nice straight punches there by zak. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of zak.
zak misses with a body shot.
zak misses with a straight right.
zak misses with a wild body shot.
Vasquez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vasquez tries to clinch but zak moves away
and zak counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Vasquez looks gassed!

Vasquez has his takedown stuffed
and zak makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

zak clinches up with Vasquez and pushes him back against the cage.

zak manages to break the clinch.
zak sizes up Vasquez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Vasquez is rocked!

zak lands a big shot that drops Vasquez! Can he finish him?
Vasquez is still in real trouble! Can zak finish him?
zak might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
zak gets to his feet and stands over Vasquez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Vasquez felt that one! zak unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Vasquez from any more punishment!
