Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Remember The Name By Fort Minor. Minard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Walk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Barker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liam Minard!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard misses with an uppercut.
Barker misses the shot to the body.
Minard misses with an uppercut. Barker saw that one coming.
Liam Minard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Minard at a distance.
Minard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Minard misses with a body shot
and Barker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Good leg kick by Minard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Minard looks to land a right hand but Barker moved out of range.
Minard connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Minard throws a jab but it's blocked by Barker.
Minard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Minard. No joy for Barker on that attempt.
Minard catches Barker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Minard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Minard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Barker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Minard tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Barker counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Minard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barker's guard.
Minard looking to sit in guard and control but Barker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Minard is trying to keep Barker in close.
Barker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Minard works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Barker stands and throws Minard's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Barker throws an elbow but Minard slips to the side and avoids it well.
Minard tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Minard holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Minard manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Minard thows a huge punch but Barker dodges it nicely.

Minard is looking to pass Barker's guard but actually Barker recovers to full guard.
Minard chips away with some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Minard is looking to work some ground and pound but Barker has wrist control.

Barker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Minard is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Minard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Minard has managed to get both his arms back between Barker's legs - danger averted.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Barker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Minard.

Barker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Minard sprawls well. Minard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barker gets slowly back to his feet.
Barker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That kick from Minard tenderised Barker's leg. Barker is trying to keep his angry face on.
Minard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barker.
Minard is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Barker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Barker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Minard won't be happy with that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barker has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Minard!
Minard tries to lock up and control but Barker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Barker breaks from Minard's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Bob Barker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Barker has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Minard's face.
Minard wants to get back to his feet.

Barker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Minard regains half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Minard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barker is working away from the top position though.

Barker wants to take a breather but Minard is having none of it.

Barker throws the kick towards the body but Minard avoids it.
Barker is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Liam Minard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Minard winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
