Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hairy Bear!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear misses with a looping right.
Bear misses with a hook to the body
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bear gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bear tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bear tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Bear drops back down to his feet.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bear's brow.
Bear tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Roy Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hairy Bear.
Bear throws a lazy head kick
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones blocks a head kick by Bear.
Bear pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Jones scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bear misses with a hook to the body
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bear throws a sloppy body shot
and Jones counters with a three punch combo that has Bear backing up. Bear nods at Jones to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bear tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jones counters with a thumping low kick.
Hairy Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bear misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bear looks gassed!
Jones throws a head kick that half lands.
Jones lands with an overhand left.
Jones swings for the body but Bear moves out of range.
Bear circles away from the clinch attempt.

A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Bear prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Bear has double underhooks.
Bear throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
Bear looking to pass the guard.

Jones looking for a guillotine here but Bear defends easily.
Bear wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bear pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.
Bear forces his way into half guard.

Bear in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jones tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bear!
