Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyde misses with an uppercut.
Cyde throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mercer throws a leg kick but Cyde checks it.

Cyde throws the left hand but Mercer avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mercer closes the distance and clinches up with Cyde, looking for a takedown. Mercer pushes Cyde against the cage but Cyde circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mercer connects with a nice short shot to Cyde's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mercer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Mercer arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Cyde's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
