Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fighting Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Blew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baby comes to the cage accompanied by Ole Ole Ole Ole Ole Ole Ole. Raymond Blew has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fighting Baby's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Fighting Baby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raymond Blew!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blew swings for the body but Baby moves out of range.

Baby feints and as Blew raises his hands in defense, Baby changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Baby working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Baby trying to control the position from guard on top but Blew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baby tries to free his leg and advance position but Blew is retaining full guard.

Blew is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Baby defends well.

Blew working for a triangle but Baby defends it easily.
Blew lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Baby!

Baby is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Baby on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Baby tries to get out of the position.
Baby is squirming around, avoiding Blew's attempts to control the action.
Blew throws some wild stikes that Baby manages to avoid easily.
Baby blocking the ground and pound.
Blew trying to control but Baby is having none of it.
Poor strikes thrown by Blew there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Blew lands a big shot there that rocks Baby but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Blew has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Blew throws some wild stikes that Baby manages to avoid easily.
Blew trying to control but Baby is having none of it.
Blew misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Baby holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Blew tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Blew lands a heavy elbow.
Blew looking to ground and pound but Baby is blocking nicely.
Blew can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Baby is looking to escape.
Blew throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Baby because Blew loaded up on that one.
Blew sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Blew looking to ground and pound but Baby is blocking nicely.

Blew wants to finish this one by submission but Baby is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Blew.
Blew tries to control but Baby wriggling away.
Blew throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Blew there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Blew lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Baby hang on?

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Baby dives in and grabs Blew's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blew pushes down on Baby's head and hops out.
Baby has a takedown stuffed.
Baby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blew moves away.
Blew looks to land a combination but Baby avoids it well.

Baby uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blew.

Blew lands with an uppercut that bounces Baby off the cage and back into rage.
Baby swings for the body but Blew moves out of range.
Baby tries to clinch but Blew moves out of range.
Blew misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baby keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Blew.
Baby shoots for a takedown but Blew saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fighting Baby. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blew throws an overhand right that lands on Baby's shoulder, as Baby tries to avoid the shot.

A big left from Blew misses.
Blew works Baby's body with a nice hook.
Baby connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blew. Blew circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Blew circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blew throws out the jab.
Baby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blew sprawls well. Blew wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baby gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Blew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Blew throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Baby counters with a stiff right hand.
Raymond Blew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blew swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Baby.

Blew throws a right and a left that Baby avoids nicely.

Raymond Blew is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Baby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blew misses with a series of wild punches.

Blew is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Raymond Blew is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Baby looks to clinch
and Blew counters with a left and a right that stings Baby.
Blew getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blew connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Baby scrambles back to his feet.
Blew will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blew throws a right hand that Baby ducks under and follows up with a left that Baby also avoids with ease.
Baby's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blew connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Baby scrambles back to his feet.

Blew lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baby circles away quickly and effectively.
A slow jab from Blew misses its intended target.
Baby moves forwards but Blew connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Baby ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Baby throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blew counters with a stiff right hand.
Baby tries to clinch up but Blew circles away and keeps his distance.
Blew keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Baby shoots in for a takedown but Blew shows good takedown defense.
Baby takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Blew slaps away a takedown attempt from Baby, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blew throws a right and a left that Baby avoids nicely.
Blew throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baby throws a right hand that Blew ducks under and follows up with a left that Blew also avoids with ease.
Blew throws out a loose jab but Baby uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blew uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Baby has time to react.
Raymond Blew seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Baby slips a straight right by Blew.
Baby takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Blew lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Blew fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed right hand from Blew misses the target.
Baby wants to clinch
and Blew counters with a straight right hand.
A left and a right from Blew both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baby takes one to the side of the head.


Baby is rocked!
Baby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blew sprawls well. Blew wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baby gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Baby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice jab there from Blew.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blew scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Baby seems to have got his legs back now.
Blew scores with a jab. Baby acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Blew throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baby on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raymond Blew showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


BOOM! Blew lands a beautiful left hook that drops Baby. Baby tries to recover but Blew is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Baby lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raymond Blew!
