Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petric throws a right and a left that both miss.
Slavsky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Petric thows a body shot but no joy.
Slavsky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slavsky fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Petric.

Petric forces Slavsky back against the cage and clinches.

Petric pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Slavsky clobbers Petric with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Petric walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Slavsky goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Petric moves into range and clinches up with Slavsky.

Petric tries to pull guard but Slavsky holds him up against the cage and eventually Petric drops back down to his feet.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Petric with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Slavsky to score with a decent uppercut.

Petric is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Slavsky doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petric.

Petric is looking for a kimura but Slavsky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petric to get the leverage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slavsky is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Petric frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Petric can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slavsky is looking to escape.
Petric tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Slavsky tries to reverse the position but Petric maintains control.

Petric has control of Slavsky's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Slavsky regains control of the situation pretty easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Petric controlling the pace for now.
