Svenn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is We Taking Over. Mia has chosen . as his entrance music. Tom Svenn is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mia.
The fighters circling - Mia throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mia misses the shot to the body.
Mia gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mia scores with a nice right hand.
Svenn moves in looking to clinch but Mia pushes him off.

Svenn slips a straight right by Mia.
Mia connects with a crisp jab.
Mia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Svenn was well out of range. Poor timing from Mia.

Mia shoots for a double leg takedown but Svenn sprawls well. He's pushed Mia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Svenn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mia's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mia's back!

Svenn has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mia has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mia turns into Svenn and is now in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mia seems to be looking for submissions.
Mia is looking to take a break and control but Svenn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are battling for position here. Svenn manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Mia thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Svenn is not content to let Mia control the position.
Svenn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Svenn throws a nice looking combination but Mia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mia throws a shot from downtown. Svenn moves away and avoids it.
Svenn clinches but Mia breaks the clinch
and Mia cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mia throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Mia takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Horrible takedown by Mia or perhaps it was just good defense by Svenn which made him look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Svenn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mia sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Svenn tries to clinch up but Mia circles away and keeps his distance.
Svenn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mia.

Svenn throws a hook to the side of Mia's head but Mia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Svenn defends it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Svenn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mia.
Mia throws out a leg kick but Svenn moves out of range and Mia only half commits.
Svenn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mia is working for a kimura but Svenn is defending it quite comfortably.
Mia is keen to just control but Svenn is a slippery customer.
Mia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Svenn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Svenn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mia pulls his head out easily.
Mia works his way into side control.
Svenn is trying to control Mia's posture but Mia avoids it.
Mia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Svenn keeps working.
Svenn tries to buck Mia off but Mia is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mia has hold of Svenn's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Svenn seems comfortable defending it but Mia has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Svenn is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Svenn is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mia couldn't care less - he's delighted!
