Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luca Fuschini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billiam Ridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridges misses with a looping right.

Fuschini shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ridges's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fuschini manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Ridges is now in side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ridges throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fuschini shoots in for a takedown but Ridges shows good takedown defense.

Horrible takedown by Fuschini or perhaps it was just good defense by Ridges which made him look bad.

Fuschini takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ridges fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Fuschini cracks Ridges with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Fuschini connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ridges is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fuschini asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fuschini tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fuschini has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ridges throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fuschini lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Fuschini is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ridges knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fuschini has an Americana. Ridges didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fuschini is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fuschini hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
