And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tirawit Kokin!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fightmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kokin tries to avoid it but Fightmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kokin to the ground. Kokin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lars Fightmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fightmann shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kokin as he jumps to the side.
Kokin lands with a hook. Fightmann tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kokin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kokin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fightmann manages to avoid it.
Fightmann misses with a jab to the body
and Kokin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fightmann looks to score with a jab to the body but Kokin is just out of range.
Kokin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fightmann misses with a shot to the body
and Kokin counters with a one-two to the body.
Kokin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Fightmann changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kokin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kokin can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Fightmann looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lars Fightmann dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fightmann shoots in but Kokin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kokin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fightmann shoots in but Kokin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fightmann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kokin is fending him off so far but Fightmann persists. Nope, Kokin circles away and we're back to standing.
Kokin leaves Fightmann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kokin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fightmann shoots for a double leg takedown but Kokin sprawls well. He's pushed Fightmann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kokin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fightmann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fightmann has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kokin finds it's way round the side to connect with Fightmann's head.

Fightmann dodges the punch combination from Kokin.
Kokin throws a jab but it's blocked by Fightmann.
Fightmann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fightmann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Horrible takedown by Fightmann or perhaps it was just good defense by Kokin which made him look bad.

Fightmann is looking to wear down Kokin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Tirawit Kokin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kokin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kokin duly obliges.
Kokin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kokin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fightmann shoots and misses
and Kokin counters with a straight right hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fightmann has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kokin finds it's way round the side to connect with Fightmann's head.
Fightmann's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kokin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fightmann scrambles back to his feet.

and Kokin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kokin scores with a jab to the head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tirawit Kokin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kokin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
