The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Collins scores with a head kick. den Hollander tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Lorcan Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

den Hollander misses with an uppercut.
Collins tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Collins. That's going to slow den Hollander down.
den Hollander paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Collins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt den Hollander.

den Hollander tries to pass the half guard into mount. Collins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
den Hollander tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Collins.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with den Hollander in particular looking to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Johan den Hollander wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

den Hollander ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

That was a close round but I would say that Johan den Hollander will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Collins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Collins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to den Hollander's calf.

den Hollander's corner calls for a 1-2. den Hollander obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Collins is rocked!
den Hollander closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Collins! den Hollander dives in looking to finish! Collins is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
