The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranstrom shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ranstrom is trying hard to land a takedown here. Flare sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ragnvard Ranstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flare rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ranstrom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ranstrom shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnvard Ranstrom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ranstrom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flare sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ranstrom shoots in for a takedown but Flare shows good takedown defense.
Ranstrom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Flare tries to avoid it but Ranstrom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Flare to the ground. Flare escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ranstrom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flare is fending him off so far but Ranstrom persists. Nope, Flare circles away and we're back to standing.

Ranstrom is breathing heavily.
Flare leaves Ranstrom with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Flare uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ranstrom has time to react.

It looks like Ragnvard Ranstrom has been cut.
