The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bisping shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pearson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Pearson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pearson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bisping with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pearson is keen to just control but Bisping is a slippery customer.

Pearson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bisping tries to sprawl out of it but Pearson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bisping manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
