Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blur - Song 2 Remix. Mark Thomas has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Robinson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Robinson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thomas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Robinson.
Robinson dives in and grabs Thomas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes down on Robinson's head and hops out.
Thomas shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Thomas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thomas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Robinson.

Thomas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Robinson, pushing him back against the cage.
Thomas tries for a takedown. No joy.
Thomas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thomas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Robinson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Thomas.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas scores with a knee to the head.
Robinson is pressed up against the cage. Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Robinson down to the mat. Robinson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thomas on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Thomas misses the target.

Robinson cracks Thomas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Robinson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Thomas to stand back up!

Thomas is rocked!

It looks like Mark Thomas has been cut.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Robinson slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Robinson lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
