Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
sarai closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brooks circles away.
sarai gets tackled into the cage by Brooks. Brooks maintains the clinch.
sarai tries to score a body lock takedown but Brooks shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
sarai stops a takedown attempt from Brooks.
sarai wants a takedown but no success here.
Kyller Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of steven sarai .

Brooks tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but sarai wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
sarai is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

sarai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

sarai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brooks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brooks tries to hold on but sarai pushes him away.
sarai looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Brooks tries to lock up and control but sarai gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

sarai jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Brooks is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Brooks and sarai has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Brooks tries to buck sarai off but sarai is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyller Brooks will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
sarai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brooks is fending him off so far but sarai persists. Nope, Brooks circles away and we're back to standing.

sarai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brooks's guard.

Brooks is trying to control the position but sarai postures up.
Brooks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for sarai on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
sarai postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brooks is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of sarai , into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brooks drops back, looking for a kneebar! sarai looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. sarai looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from sarai !
