Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jurgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Feng Wei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wei has chosen Feng Wei Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Paul Jurgen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgen throws the left hand but Wei avoids the punch easily.
Wei cracks the inside of Jurgen's front leg.
Wei ducks under a wild hook from Jurgen.
Jurgen blocks a head kick by Wei.
Wei lands with a thumping leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jurgen. Wei does a little dance to reset his feet.
Paul Jurgen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jurgen thows a body shot but no joy.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wei.

Jurgen wants to control from the top but Wei keeps moving.

Jurgen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wei has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jurgen has managed to get both his arms back between Wei's legs - danger averted.
Jurgen throws a strike but Wei rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jurgen holds on and takes a little breather.
Wei stops Jurgen from standing up.
Wei stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jurgen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Paul Jurgen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Jurgen misses with the combination.
Jurgen looks to score with a jab to the body but Wei is just out of range.
The fighters circling - Jurgen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wei jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Jurgen is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Wei's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Wei ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jurgen misses with a hook. Wei ducked under it nicely.

A close round but Feng Wei will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jurgen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jurgen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jurgen enables Wei to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jurgen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Wei slips nicely into half guard.
Wei passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jurgen!
Wei fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Jurgen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wei can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jurgen is looking to escape.
Jurgen reaches up and holds on to Wei to control the position.

Wei can't control as he wanted to and Jurgen manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Feng Wei wasn't active enough on the ground.
Wei blocks a jab.
A low kick from Jurgen is predictable there
and Wei counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Jurgen misses the target.
Decent striking displayed by Jurgen there.
Wei goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Paul Jurgen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jurgen misses the body punch
and Wei counters with a thumping low kick.
Jurgen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wei counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jurgen misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Wei counters with a takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wei in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Jurgen is not content to let Wei control the position.

Jurgen is trying to control Wei's posture but Wei avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A lull in the action here as Wei stalls from top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jurgen can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Feng Wei showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Wei counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jurgen's knee momentarily.

Jurgen throws an overhand right that lands on Wei's shoulder, as Wei tries to avoid the shot.
Jurgen moves forwards but Wei connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jurgen misses with a hook to the body
and Wei counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Oooh a lovely combination from Jurgen sends Wei down but not out. Jurgen dives into side control looking to finish.

Wei is rocked!

It looks like Feng Wei has been cut.
Jurgen lands a strong strike to the head of Wei. That's dazed him! Jurgen looking to finish here. Wei is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jurgen lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
