The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Amaya shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Diaz wants to sweep but no luck.
Amaya wants to stand and escape but instead Diaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Amaya is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Amaya is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Amaya thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Diaz to regain full guard.
Amaya has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Diaz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Amaya is defending well. Diaz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Amaya has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
