Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Mckenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Souka Sudoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that David Mckenna has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily David Mckenna seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenna will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mckenna tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sudoka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mckenna somewhat.
Mckenna fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Mckenna. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mckenna throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sudoka tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mckenna is in Sudoka's guard.
Mckenna throws and elbow that misses. Sudoka uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mckenna's guard. Nice move by Sudoka!
Sudoka wants to pass the guard but Mckenna is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sudoka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sudoka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sudoka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sudoka tries to free his leg and advance position but Mckenna is retaining full guard.

Sudoka drops back looking for a leg! Mckenna is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mckenna manages to kick Sudoka off! Sudoka jumps back into Mckenna's guard.

Mckenna is refusing to be controlled, as Sudoka sits in half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mckenna has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sudoka is working away from the top position though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sudoka connects with a nice short shot to Mckenna's temple.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mckenna tries to get to full guard but Sudoka has control of the leg.

Sudoka wants to take a breather but Mckenna is having none of it.
