Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunde Sven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Gray!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray tries for a takedown but Sven sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gray fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sven throws a sloppy head kick and Gray moves out of range easily.
Gray takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sven lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sven thuds his right hand into Gray's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gray throws a hook but Sven blocks it.
Gray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sven avoids it really well and circles away.
Gunde Sven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Gray.

Sven lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gray moves into range and clinches up with Sven.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sven, as that shot connected.
