The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pony drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tornado throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Pony is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

It looks like Tony Tornado has been cut.
Pony's corner is telling him to maintain position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pony accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pony pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tornado is keeping the position for now.
Pony seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Pony shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Pony passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Pony is working to tighten is grip on Tornado's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tornado has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pony is really squeezing tight and eventually Tornado passes out! Pony breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
