The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
demon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kruger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. demon is trying to defend but Kruger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kruger stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows demon to get to his feet.

and Kruger counters with a single leg into guard. demon didn't expect that.
Kruger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of demon's head.

Kruger drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kruger seems to have locked his on tight now - demon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kruger, as he picks up the win!
