The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gomez. Those never looked like landing.
Gomez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gomez throws a nice looking combination but Tyson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown but Gomez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tyson fails with a takedown attempt.
Gomez thuds a left hand into Tyson's body.

Gomez lands a big uppercut and Tyson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tyson looks OK. Gomez waves Tyson back to his feet!

It looks like Anderson Tyson has been cut.
Pepe Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson is breathing heavily.

Gomez darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Tyson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Gomez before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
