PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Renrav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yourn Rotterdam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Renrav shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rotterdam is looking to get to half guard.
Rotterdam regains half guard.
Renrav knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rotterdam on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Rotterdam is landing with some decent strikes but Renrav is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Renrav closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rotterdam circles away.

Rotterdam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rotterdam is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Renrav can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

and Renrav makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rotterdam really felt that one!

Rotterdam is looking to sinch up a triangle. Renrav throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rotterdam's body to avoid the submission. Rotterdam has instead reached around Renrav's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rotterdam arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
