Alves swings for the body but Hughes moves out of range.
Hughes jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Alves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hughes misses with an uppercut. Alves saw that one coming.
Hughes cracks Alves with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Alves scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hughes throws an overhand right that lands on Alves's shoulder, as Alves tries to avoid the shot.
Alves throws out a loose jab but Hughes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hughes misses with an uppercut.
Hughes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
