The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Amore has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Amore which made him look bad.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva wants to clinch up but Amore keeps it at a distance.

Amore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.

Silva is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Amore has his hands clasped together but Silva extends an breaks Amore's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Silva.
