Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Capo de Salsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilbert Pickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capo de Salsa looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

de Salsa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - de Salsa lands in his opponent's guard.
de Salsa trying to control the position from guard on top but Pickles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
de Salsa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pickles is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Pickles seems keen to control de Salsa's posture.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pickles is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pickles slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

de Salsa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pickles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pickles in particular looking to stall.

de Salsa is looking for a sweep. Pickles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pickles uses his free foot to push down on de Salsa's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for de Salsa.

de Salsa has given up his back. Will we see Pickles going for some submissions?
Pickles just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dilbert Pickles just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

de Salsa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pickles to the mat! Pickles manages to get full guard.
