Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Silliard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Pedro Bengoetxea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bengoetxea throws out a loose jab but Silliard uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bengoetxea loads up on a big right hand but Silliard slips the punch.
Bengoetxea misses with an uppercut. Silliard saw that one coming.
Bengoetxea throws the left hand but Silliard avoids the punch easily.

Silliard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silliard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silliard lands in his opponent's guard.
Bengoetxea is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Silliard dives into side control.

Silliard is working to tighten is grip on Bengoetxea's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bengoetxea has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silliard is really squeezing tight and eventually Bengoetxea passes out! Silliard breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
