Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick sanfillipo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New Noise - Refused kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sanfillipo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lynch misses with a few strikes there.
sanfillipo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
sanfillipo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lynch tries to avoid it but sanfillipo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lynch to the ground. Lynch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
sanfillipo shoots in but Lynch avoids the takedown attempt easily.
sanfillipo throws out a loose jab but Lynch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Horrible takedown by sanfillipo or perhaps it was just good defense by Lynch which made him look bad.

Lynch throws a right and a left that sanfillipo avoids nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lynch.

Nick sanfillipo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sloppy strikes from Lynch. Those never looked like landing.
Lynch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but sanfillipo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
sanfillipo throws the kick towards the body but Lynch avoids it.
Lynch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
sanfillipo just misses with a punch to the body.
Nathan Lynch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

sanfillipo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lynch moves out of range as sanfillipo throws a body kick.
sanfillipo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lynch circles away.
sanfillipo misses with a two punch combination.
Lynch throws a leg kick which misses sanfillipo's front leg but catches the back leg as sanfillipo tries to avoid it.
sanfillipo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lynch defends it nicely.

sanfillipo throws a lazy right hand but Lynch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
