The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nidorenko slaps away a takedown attempt from straton, before circling back to the center of the mat.

straton tries to clinch but nidorenko is having none of it.

straton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. nidorenko tries to avoid it but straton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag nidorenko to the ground. nidorenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
