The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puckett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nosnom moves away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Nosnom scores a takedown into full mount!
Puckett is trying to stand up.
Nosnom wants to take Puckett's back but he can't do it this time.
Puckett really wants to buck Nosnom off and get back to his feet.

Nosnom working for a guillotine from mount but Puckett is in no mood to give up.
Nosnom looking to control but Puckett is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Puckett tries to hold on but Nosnom postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puckett is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Nosnom wants to finish this one by submission but Puckett is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nosnom.

Nosnom is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Puckett to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Puckett shrugs it off.
Puckett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nosnom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nosnom has control of Puckett's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Puckett regains control of the situation pretty easily.
