Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Koslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasqez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koslov comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. Velasqez has chosen Gorillaz - Latin simone as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koslov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Velasqez tries to avoid it but Koslov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Velasqez to the ground. Velasqez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Koslov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Velasqez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Koslov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Velasqez avoids the head kick by Koslov.
Velasqez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koslov is trying to defend but Velasqez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Velasqez wants to free his trapped foot but Koslov is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Velasqez goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Koslov is on top in guard.
Velasqez looking for a guillotine here but Koslov defends easily.
Velasqez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Koslov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Velasqez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koslov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koslov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Velasqez slips a jab from Koslov.
Velasqez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koslov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Koslov manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Velasqez is looking to sinch up a triangle. Koslov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Velasqez's body to avoid the submission. Velasqez has instead reached around Koslov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Velasqez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
