The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brott shoots in for a double leg but Viitalainen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Viitalainen feints and then cracks Brott's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brott down.

Viitalainen lands a big head kick that sends Brott tumbling to the mat! Viitalainen takes a step backwards and waves Brott back to his feet - he wants the finish!
