The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cena throws a half hearted mid kick.
Massey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? cena is fending him off so far but Massey persists. Nope, cena circles away and we're back to standing.

cena gets the takedown into side control.

cena decides to stand back up.
A head kick misses from cena.
cena pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Massey moves into the clinch.
cena tries to pull guard but Massey holds him up against the cage and eventually cena drops back down to his feet.

Massey decides to pull guard.
cena wants to stand and escape but instead Massey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Massey distracts cena with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
cena is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Massey stands and throws cena's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
cena is trying to control Massey's posture but Massey avoids it.

Massey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but cena is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Massey has an Americana. cena didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Massey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Massey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
