Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Gerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quan Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerra comes into the arena with Queen - Another One Bites The Dust blaring out of the sound system. Raiden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boss Battle. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raiden throws out a loose jab but Gerra uses good head movement to avoid it.
Raiden stuffs the takedown attempt from Gerra. Gerra gets slowly back to his feet.
Gerra closes this distance looking for a takedown but Raiden circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Raiden misses the target.
Gerra shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raiden as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Gerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as Raiden lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gerra doesn't seem phased though.
Raiden looks for the body kick but Gerra saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown by Gerra or perhaps it was just good defense by Raiden which made him look bad.
Gerra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Raiden but Raiden pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gerra tries to score a body lock takedown but Raiden shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The referee is keeping an eye on Raiden - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Raiden throws a big uppercut that drops Gerra! More strikes from Raiden and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Gerra lies dazed against the cage as Raiden celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quan Raiden!
